Ronaldo is known for his desire to always score more and more goals

Not all that glitters is gold. Despite the fact Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo always maintained a cordial relationship during their time as Real Madrid players, the Welshman has not been afraid to speak out about the Portuguese's behaviour in the dressing room after his retirement.

"We always had a good relationship, although he had his moments. For example, if we won a match 5-0 and he hadn't scored, he would go into the dressing room and throw his boots as if he was angry. It's like if you win the Ryder Cup and you get angry because you haven't scored a point," said Bale, always comparing it to the world of golf.

The interview was conducted on Martin Borgmeier's YouTube channel during the BMW International Open Pro-Am golf tournament. It is worth remembering that the world of golf is Bale's great passion, immortalised in the famous flag: "Wales-Golf-Madrid, in that order."

Despite the criticism, already known for his self-centredness, Bale also acknowledged that whenever Cristiano won the Ballon d'Or, he went into the dressing room to thank the team for allowing him to win the prize.
