Paris Saint-Germain had a positive preparation for their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich by defeating Nantes 4-2 on Saturday evening.
Although they were without Neymar, who is out through a sprained ankle, Christophe Galtier still had Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe as his forward pairing.
The Argentine got the scoring started with a strike in the 12th minute of play, and that seemed to have ended any real resistance from the visitors.
Just five minutes later it was 2-0, much to the delight of the Parc des Princes crowd, through an unfortunate Jaouen Hadjam own goal.
Nantes caused the Parisians a scare
But, what appeared to be a comfortable victory for PSG was soon a real battle. Nantes scored two goals in eight minutes through Ludovic Blas and Ignatius Ganago to level the match at 2-2.
It took a second half push to secure all three points for the French champions, started by Danilo Pereira's strike on the hour.
It wasn't the free-flowing PSG that we have grown accustomed to seeing, and the decisive goal didn't arrive until stoppage time.
With 92 minutes played Mbappe made the result safe by adding a fourth, rendering Nantes' comeback in the first half null.
