Amazon Prime have named the first five Champions League games they will broadcast this season.

The streaming giant will be showing the top Tuesday match each week during the new league phase - after already showing their first games  during the play-off round.

TNT Sports will continue their coverage of the Champions League while the BBC will now show weekly highlights.

Amazon have unveiled the first games they will broadcast, all of which include Premier League teams.

The first league phase game they will present is Liverpool's trip to the San Siro to play AC Milan on September 17.

They will then show Arsenal's heavyweight clash with Paris Saint-Germain on October 1, and the Gunners' home clash with Shakhtar Donetsk on October 22.

Xabi Alonso's return to Anfield as Bayer Leverkusen manager will be shown on November 5, while Manchester City's clash with Arne Slot's former side Feyenoord will be broadcast on November 26.

Amazon have yet to announce the games they will show from the final three weeks of the league phase as these will be announced at a later date.

They have pulled out all the stops to put together a team of experts to front their coverage.

Gabby Logan will present the action, and will be joined by Frank Lampard and Daniel Sturridge, who won the competition with Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.

Perhaps the big coup is Clarence Seedorf who won the competition on four separate occasions.

Also part of the coverage are Gael Clichy, Alan Shearer and Jon Champion in the commentary box, and Gabriel Clarke with Alex Aljoe reporting from pitchside.

Amazon Prime will also offer fans the chance to try out some new features for games, including 'Rapid Recap', which provides the opportunity for viewers to watch a highlights reel of any of the action they may have missed.

There is also a 'Key Moments' category, where fans can skip to major incidents such as a penalties, goals or VAR decisions.
