Gakpo, who is the latest arrival for Jurgen Klopp's side, has joined from Dutch outfit PSV
Video footage posted on Liverpool's official Twitter account shows Gakpo leaving a black car, before being greeted by a club employee.
He then enters the stadium from the car park, smiling for the cameras and shaking hands with several other staff members, who are keen to welcome him.
While Liverpool supporters will rejoice at the sight of Gakpo arriving, the pleasure will be dampened slightly by the sight of winger Luis Diaz arriving on crutches.

The winger underwent further knee surgery this month and is out for the foreseeable future
The Colombian underwent further knee surgery this month after experiencing discomfort in Dubai and is expected to be out for the foreseeable future.
Speaking ahead of his side's clash with Leicester, Klopp was asked what he and the club's hierarchy saw in Gakpo - who impressed at the World Cup, scoring three goals as Holland were knocked out in the quarter-finals on penalties by Argentina.
'The answer is pretty easy, it's obvious because he's a really, really, really good player, so the package is really interesting,' he said.
Gakpo has scored nine goals and recorded 12 assists in 14 league games for PSV this season
The 23-year-old also shone at the Qatar World Cup (above), netting three time for the Oranje
Forward Gakpo, 23, had revealed he was enticed to join by Holland team-mate Virgil van Dijk
'The age he is in, the potential he shows, or has, and the quality he showed already in Holland and with the national team as well, so it makes him a really, really interesting player.
'And that's why we were very interested to get him in and I'm really happy that we could do it. So, big for us, big for him as well, so it's cool.
'He's obviously delighted about joining us. Everything will be good. So, great day, let me say it like this.'
