Former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst took charge of the club in June and is looking to reshape the squad.

Oxlade-Chamberlain may be allowed to leave in order to to remove him from the age bill with a number of British clubs said to be interested.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was part of the Liverpool side that secured a first Premier League trophy for the club in 2020, and also featured in their league cup-winning squad two years after.

However, injuries curtailed his involvement in recent seasons and the attacking midfielder was limited to just four Premier League starts last season as Jurgen Klopp's side failed to secure Champions League football.
