The 2022-23 Premier League transfer window is in full swing, with most teams making drastic changes to their squads ahead of the new season.

The campaign is set to get underway on Friday evening when Arsenal travel away to Crystal Palace, but there could still be plenty of business done ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline.

Big moves so far include Erling Haaland to Manchester City, Darwin Nunez to Liverpool, and Raheem Sterling to Chelsea in bumper deals, while new boys Nottingham Forest have splashed the cash.

Sportsmail takes a look at where each club will be looking to strengthen and who is on the radar.

ARSENAL

Mikel Arteta has continued to rebuild his squad this summer with the much needed addition of a striker in the form of Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus.

The Spaniard has added depth in most areas on the pitch with the signings of Fabio Vieira, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Matt Turner and Marquinhos.

He has also cleared the books slightly with Matteo Guendouzi, Konstantinos Mavropanos, and Alexandre Lacazette all departing while Nuno Tavares has headed out on loan.

Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira and Pablo Mari could also depart, which would leave the Gunners looking light once again.

The Gunners have been long-time admirers of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans and remain keen to add him.

They've also been heavily linked with Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta throughout the summer.

Arrivals: Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City, £45m), Fabio Vieira (Porto, £30m), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Manchester City, £32m), Matt Turner (New England, £5.75m), Marquinhos (Sao Paulo, £3m).

Who they want: Youri Tielemans (Leicester) and Lucas Paqueta (Lyon)

ASTON VILLA

Steven Gerrard's side have high ambitions for the future and that has shown with the additions of Sevilla defender Diego Carlos, Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho and Boubacar Kamara from Marseille.

Villa have also snapped up Robin Olsen and Ludwig Augustinsson while clearing the books of Matt Targett, Trezeguet, Lovre Kalinic, Conor Hourihane, Jaden Philogene-Bidace, and sending Wesley out on loan to Levante.

Villa have been linked with a number of strikers during the transfer window, such as Jonathan David and Raul de Tomas.

Arrivals: Diego Carlos (Sevilla, £26m), Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona, £17m), Robin Olsen (Roma, £3m), Ludwig Augustinsson (Sevilla, £500,000 - loan), Boubacar Kamara (Marseille, free).

Who they want: Jonathan David (Lille).

BOURNEMOUTH

Plenty of work to do, that would be the best way to sum up the Cherries' summer transfer dealings.

The newly-promoted side have barely opened their wallet with the £12million signing of Marcus Tavernier as well as free transfers for Ryan Fredericks and Joe Rothwell.

In order to ensure Premier League survival, Bournemouth need to do some business and fast, otherwise they could be in for a tough campaign.

The Cherries need additions across the pitch, but are eyeing Barcelona goalkeeper Neto to help provide competition to Mark Travers.

Liverpool defender Nat Phillips has also been heavily linked with a permanent switch after he helped the Cherries gain promotion while on loan last term.

Arrivals: Joe Rothwell (Blackburn Rovers, free), Ryan Fredericks (West Ham United, free), Marcus Tavernier (Middlesbrough, £12m).

Who they want: Neto (Barcelona) and Nat Phillips (Liverpool).

BRENTFORD

Brentford are reportedly close to completing a deal for Euro 2020 star Mikkel Damsgaard for a fee of around £16million this summer, which would be a huge boost.

The Bees have already completed some shrewd business with the additions of Keane Lewis-Potter, Aaron Hickey, Thomas Strakosha and Ben Mee.

Thomas Frank's side did lose star midfielder Christian Eriksen on a free transfer to Manchester United.

Arrivals: Keane Lewis-Potter (Hull City, £16m), Aaron Hickey (Bologna, £14m), Thomas Strakosha (Lazio, free), Ben Mee (Burnley, free).

BRIGHTON

Brighton were a real dark horse in the Premier League last season with a blistering start and an impressive finish.

Graham Potter's side have since seen Yves Bissouma depart for Tottenham with Marc Cucurella also looking set to join one of either Chelsea or Manchester City this summer.

Brighton may look to sign RB Leipzig left-back Angelino as a replacement for Cucurella while Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams is another option.

They're also in talks to sign former Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch, who left the Bundesliga club upon the expiry of his contract, although they face competition from the likes of Leeds and Newcastle United.

Arrivals: Julio Enciso (Libertad, £10m), Simon Adingra (Nordsjaelland, £7m).

Who they want: Angelino (RB Leipzig), Brandon Williams (Manchester United), Florian Grillitsch (free agent).

CHELSEA

A summer of transition, Chelsea have snapped up Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly in big-money moves from Manchester City and Napoli respectively.

Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen both left the club on free transfers while £97m flop Romelu Lukaku has joined Inter Milan on loan.

Thomas Tuchel is keen to put his own stamp on the Blues squad as they begin a new era under new owner Todd Boehly and has been linked with a number of new faces.

The Blues have, however, missed out on the likes of Raphinha and Jules Kounde who they agreed deals for before LaLiga giants Barcelona snapped them up from under their noses.

They remain active in the transfer market, having turned their attentions to the likes of Barcelona midfielder, Brighton full-back Marc Cucurella, and Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana.

Midfield is an area they seem stacked in, while they remain light in both defence and attack.

Who they want: Marc Cucurella (Brighton), Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona), Wesley Fofana (Leicester).

The Blues are also targeting Frenkie de Jong, Marc Cucurella (centre), who is on the brink of completing his switch to Stamford Bridge and Wesley Fofana

CRYSTAL PALACE

The Eagles will be hoping they can continue to grow under Patrick Vieira after an impressive first season.

They will need to strengthen with clubs in and around them bolstering their squads while they've had a fairly quiet window with just the additions of Cheick Doucoure, Chris Richards, Malcom Ebiowei, and Sam Johnstone.

Losing loan star Conor Gallagher back to parent club Chelsea is a huge blow and he will be hard to replace after he was so influential last campaign.

Palace will be keen to add another option in midfield with PSV Eindhoven's Ibrahim Sangare the primary target.

Napoli star Hirving Lozano is also a target for Vieira to bolster his attacking options.

Arrivals: Cheick Doucoure (Lens, £22m), Chris Richards (Bayern Munich, £10m), Malcom Ebiowei (Derby, free), Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace, free).

EVERTON

Everton have raided relegated Burnley for Dwight McNeil and James Tarkowski while also adding Ruben Vinagre on loan from Sporting Lisbon to help strengthen the squad.

The Toffees struggled last season and needed to improve the squad. The business they've done so far is solid given their financial issues.

They do, however, need more additions to ensure they remain well clear of danger this season. One positive is boss Frank Lampard has also been able to clear the decks.

Richarlison departing for Tottenham was a huge blow, but other than that the outgoings have all made sense, with Jonjoe Kenny and Cenk Tosun both leaving while Fabian Delph and Gylfi Sigurdsson have been released.

A striker is desperately needed to replace the Brazilian as they struggled for goals last season, and Chelsea youngster Armando Broja is one of a number of targets, but they'll also be hoping McNeil, Dele Alli and other attacking midfielders can help chip in.

PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye is a target for the Toffees and is expected to join prior to the season opener, while they have made a bid to rival West Ham for Lille's Amadou Onana.

Arrivals: Dwight McNeil (Burnley, £20m), James Tarkowski (Burnley, free), Ruben Vinagre (Sporting Lisbon, loan).

Who they want: Idrissa Gueye (PSG) and Armando Broja (Chelsea), Amadou Onana (Lille).

FULHAM

Fulham have strengthened their squad with big additions such as Joao Palhinha and Bernd Leno.

Boss Marco Silva still believes the Cottagers are extremely light in defence with that being an area he is keen to add to before the transfer window slams shut.

Chelsea's Malang Sarr and West Ham's Issa Diop are two of the main targets for Fulham to help them bolster their defence as well as Jannik Vestergaard and Nat Phillips.

Arrivals: Joao Palhinha (Sporting Lisbon, £17m), Andreas Pereira (Manchester United, £10m), Kevin Mbabu (Wolfsburg, £6.4m), Manor Solomon (Shakhtar Donetsk, loan), Bernd Leno (Arsenal, £8m)

Who they want: Malang Sarr (Chelsea), Issa Diop (West Ham), Jannik Vestergaard (Leicester) and Nat Phillips (Liverpool).

LEEDS UNITED

A rebuild. That could be the best way to describe a whirlwind summer for Leeds after losing star players Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha to Manchester City and Barcelona respectively.

Jesse Marsch has spent the money wisely to build more of a well-rounded squad, but you still feel as though they need to add some more class to avoid flirting with relegation or being pulled into a battle once again.

The Whites are still linked with a whole host of names to help bolster their squad depth including the likes of Ismaila Sarr, Mergim Berisha, Martin Terrier and former Manchester United and Chelsea star Juan Mata.

Arrivals: Brenden Aaronson (Red Bull Salzburg, £25m), Tyler Adams (RB Leipzig, £21m), Luis Sinisterra (Feyenoord, £21m), Marc Roca (Bayern Munich, £10.4m), Rasmus Kristensen (Red Bull Salzburg, £8.5m), Darko Gyabi (Manchester City, £5m).

LEICESTER CITY

Leicester haven't signed anybody yet, which seems bizarre and surely they will dip into the transfer market at some stage to remain on pace with the rest of the Premier League.

The Foxes main focus has been trying to keep hold of Youri Tielemans, Wesley Fofana and James Maddison among other key players who are attracting interest from rival clubs.

Boss Brendan Rodgers has hinted that a right winger will be the club's top priority should they free up some space.

Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill has also been linked with a move to the King Power in search of more game time.

Arrivals: None

LIVERPOOL

The Reds have seen Sadio Mane and Divock Origi depart this summer among other squad players, including Neco Williams and Takumi Minamino.

But perhaps the squad has been over-loaded therefore they've had a fairly quiet window other than their blockbuster move for Darwin Nunez for £85m from Benfica to replace the outgoing Mane.

Jurgen Klopp's side are not expected to do much more business although they are admirers of Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Arrivals: Darwin Nunez (Benfica, £85m); Calvin Ramsay (Aberdeen, £6.5m); Fabio Carvalho (Fulham, £7.7m).

Who they want: Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund).

MANCHESTER CITY

Pep Guardiola has decided to refresh his squad by making blockbuster signing Erling Haaland and bringing in England star Kalvin Phillips to replace Fernandinho.

City have spent big on those two players, but have recouped the money spent and more by selling Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to Premier League rivals.

They are still keen to add another option at full-back, but it seems unlikely that they will now get Brighton's Marc Cucurella with Chelsea edging close to completing a deal.

Instead City may opt to try sign Anderlecht full-back Sergio Gomez to provide competition for Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker.

Arrivals: Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund, £51m); Kalvin Phillips (Leeds United, £50m); Stefan Ortega (Arminia Bielefeld, free).

Who they want: Marc Cucurella (Brighton) and Sergio Gomez (Anderlecht).

MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United are starting to sweat on key transfer targets, as they continue to chase down Frenkie de Jong, in what has become a three-month loan transfer saga.

The Holland international remains the top target, although rivals Chelsea have now joined the race, which could add to the drama.

The Red Devils have not only failed to set up a De Jong reunion with boss Erik ten Hag, but also one with Antony.

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong remains the top transfer target for Manchester United

Ajax are not budging on the valuation of the Brazilian, which has proved to be a stumbling block for United.

They're also linked with a move for Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko.

United will be keen to get some more transfer business as the squad now looks light after the departures of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Edinson Cavani.

Arrivals: Lisandro Martinez (Ajax, £55m), Tyrell Malacia (Feyenoord, £14.7m), Christian Eriksen (Brentford, free).

Who they want: Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona), Antony (Ajax) and Benjamin Sesko (Red Bull Salzburg).

NEWCASTLE UNITED

Big-money Newcastle are not giving up in their pursuit to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison, as they continue to table new bids.

The Magpies are also looking at Barcelona's wantaway forward Memphis Depay with boss Eddie Howe's desperately keen to bolster his options in attack.

Newcastle are also targeting a shock move for Chelsea's out of favour forward Timo Werner as another potential option up front.

Arrivals: Sven Botman (Lille, £35m), Matt Targett (Aston Villa, £15m), Nick Pope (Burnley, £10m), Charlie McArthur (Kilmarnock, undisclosed).

Who they want: James Maddison (Leicester), Memphis Depay (Newcastle) and Timo Werner (Chelsea).

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Nottingham Forest have splashed the cash since returning to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years.

Forest are still on the hunt for another midfielder with Real Betis star William Carvalho at the top of a four-man list.

Steve Cooper's side are also exploring other options, including Manchester United youngster James Garner.

Anton Stach and Ibrahim Sangare are the two other names on Forest's shortlist of midfield targets this summer.

Arrivals: Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin, £18.45m), Neco Williams (Liverpool, £18m), Orel Mangala (Stuttgart, £11.7m), Moussa Niakhate (Mainz, £9m), Giulian Biancone (Troyes, £9m), Omar Richards (Bayern Munich, £7.65m), Lewis O'Brien (Huddersfield Town, £5.31m), Harry Toffolo (Huddersfield, £5.31m), Brandon Aguilera (LD Alajuelense, £855,000), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United, free transfer), Wayne Hennessy (Crystal Palace, free transfer), Dean Henderson (Manchester United, loan deal).

Who they want: William Carvalho (Real Betis), James Garner (Manchester United).

SOUTHAMPTON

The Saints have done some shrewd business by bringing in talented youngsters to help improve the future hopes of the squad.

You do feel they might need to bring in some more players that are ready to jump right into the action and do not need slowly embedding into the team.

Former England international's Harry Winks and Phil Jones are both linked with moves to St Mary's given how out of favour they are at their respective clubs.

Manchester City's Liam Delap could join on loan while boss Ralph Hasenhuttl could attempt to bring Armando Broja back after his impressive loan spell at the club last season.

Arrivals: Gavin Bazunu (Manchester City, £14m), Sekou Mara (Bordeaux, £13m), Romeo Lavia (Manchester City, £12.3m), Armel Bella-Kotchap (VFL Bochum, £10m), Joe Aribo (Rangers, £7.1m), Mateusz Lis (Altay SK, free transfer).

Who they want: Harry Winks (Tottenham), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Liam Delap (Manchester City) and Armando Broja (Chelsea).

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Tottenham have backed manager Antonio Conte in the transfer market and will continue to do so, if the right targets are available.

Spurs are looking at the likes of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, Barcelona forward Memphis Depay, and Villarreal defender Pau Torres.

The Italian will be keen to clear some space in his squad before adding too many more, as he looks to shift the likes of Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovanni Lo Celso.

Arrivals: Richarlison (Everton, £52m), Yves Bissouma (Brighton, £26m), Djed Spence (Middlesbrough, £13m), Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan, free transfer), Fraser Forster (Southampton, free transfer), Clement Lenglet (Barcelona, loan).

WEST HAM UNITED

West Ham have reportedly agreed a £33.5million deal with Lille for midfielder Amadou Onana, although Everton have also made a late bid, and remain focused on added some much-needed squad depth.

The Hammers remain in discussion with Burnley over the signing of Maxwel Cornet to compliment the big money additions of Gianluca Scamacca and Nayef Aguerd.

David Moyes' side are also exploring the possibility of signing Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Filip Kostic.

Arrivals: Gianluca Scamacca (Sassuolo, £30m), Nayef Aguerd (Rennes, £28m), Flynn Downes (Swansea, £9.5m), Alphonse Areola (PSG, £7.75m).

WOLVES

Wolves are considering a move for Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke as an option to replace outgoing forward Fabio Silva.

The 20-year-old was loaned out to Belgian giants Anderlecht, and that development, coupled with Patrick Cutrone being cast aside this summer, leaves Wolves lacking options up front especially given Raul Jimenez's latest injury.

Ben Brereton Diaz is another potential target for Bruno Lage's side, as the 23-year-old scored 22 times for Rovers last season as they threatened to push for promotion.

Arrivals: Nathan Collins (Burnley, £20.5m), Hwang Hee-chan (RB Leipzig, £15m).
