Joao Cancelo fires another shot at Pep Guardiola just hours before his return to Man City - insisting he agrees with Bayern's 'principles' and his coaches are 'very professional' - after a bust-up with the Spaniard led to his bitter loan exit
Joao Cancelo appears to have fired another shot at Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola ahead of the pair's reunion on Tuesday night.
Bayern Munich travel to the Etihad, with Cancelo eligible to face his parent club despite being on loan from Man City for the remainder of the season.
The Portugal international departed on a temporary basis during the January transfer window after Sportsmail revealed that his relationship with Guardiola broke down after a training ground bust-up.
Speaking to Bayern Munich's , Cancelo appears to have made a dig at his former manager at Man City as he praised Bayern's coaching staff and discussed their principles.
He said: 'Bayern Munich is a club that considers discipline to be very important. The staff at Bayern are very professional - and I can identify with these principles.'

The defender continued to highlight his desire to beat his parent club in the Champions League quarter-finals before outlining the differences between life in Germany and England.
'I am a very competitive player and I don't like losing,' he continued. 'I never give up, it sums up who I am.
'Discipline as well, as I am a professional and hard-working footballer, with a strong personality.
'The Premier League is very competitive, with strong players physically and technically. But the Bundesliga has definitely surprised me with organised teams and good players.
Guardiola's relationship with Cancelo reportedly broke down before he was allowed to leave
Guardiola is hoping to beat his former club Bayern Munich to advance to the semi-finals
'Maybe the Premier League has a bit more intensity but I think overall they're pretty similar.'
Man City host the Bundesliga leaders tonight in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at the Etihad, with the clash promising to be one of the most exciting match-ups in the competition so far.
While Cancelo faces off against his parent side, Guardiola is taking on his former club after spending three years in Germany from 2013, where he didn't manage to lift the Champions League trophy.
The winner of the tie knows that they will likely be the favourites to lift the trophy and will face either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the semi-final if they progress.
This could set up a reunion between newly appointed Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel and his former club Chelsea.
But first, Cancelo will have to come out victorious against Guardiola's Man City and prove them wrong for allowing him to depart in the January transfer window.
