Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Gio Reyna from Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.
In an announcement on the club's website, Forest revealed Reyna will wear the number 20 shirt during his time in the East Midlands.
Forest will pay the entirety of Reyna's wages for the duration of his time at the City Ground and the deal does not include any option to buy.
Reyna’s contract at Dortmund ends in June 2025 and he signed with super agent Jorge Mendes in December.
The 21-year-old has spent the entirety of his career in the Bundesliga, having made his senior debut for Dortmund in 2020 becoming the league's youngest American player in the process.

Forest are also pushing to sign a goalkeeper before the transfer window closes on Thursday night.
The club had an offer to loan Sam Johnstone rejected by Crystal Palace, but are still interested in the 30-year-old and are prepared to table a £15m bid to sign the former Manchester United stopper permanently.
