The Premier League has confirmed that Bournemouth's abandoned match with Luton will be replayed on March 13, handing both teams an enticing double gameweek in GW28.

The Cherries will face both Sheffield United and Luton at home in GW28, while Rob Edwards side will take on Crystal Palace and Bournemouth on the road.

The announcement comes at an intriguing time for fantasy managers, who are in the process of planning for both double GW25 and blank GW26.

Manchester City, Brentford, Liverpool and Luton are the four teams that play twice in GW25, with the latter pair not featuring alongside Tottenham and Chelsea in GW26.

With news of Bournemouth and Luton now doubling in GW28, managers will be keen to target in-form Cherries hitman Dominic Solanke, who has netted 13 times in the league this campaign.

With two promoted teams to face at home in one singular gameweek, Solanke provides an extremely tempting triple captain option, for those who have yet to play the chip.

At £7.1million, Solanke is the fourth highest-scoring forward in FPL this year behind Ollie Watkins, Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, chalking up 110 points to date.

Others would perhaps prefer to triple captain Haaland, given the City talisman is set to face Chelsea and Brentford at home in GW25.

Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Alvarez will likely prove the most popular attacking assets among Manchester City players ahead of their double, with Kyle Walker and Josko Gvardiol offering cheaper options in defence.

Targeting Man City is ideal at the moment because Pep Guardiola's side play twice in GW25 but, unlike Liverpool, will not blank immediately afterwards.

Liverpool's tempting double against Brentford and Luton shouldn't be overlooked however, so long as managers are careful not to overload on players blanking in GW25.

With Mohamed Salah's fitness still uncertain, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota look the best buys from Liverpool in attack, while Virgil van Dijk's reliability of minutes and Trent Alexander-Arnold's explosive output from defence are also inviting.

Luton, who now have two doubles either side of their troublesome GW26 blank, should also be strongly considered in FPL.

Although Manchester United and Liverpool provide a challenging set of fixtures in GW25, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth in GW28 is very tempting.

Alfie Doughty has returned in five of the last six gameweeks for the Hatters, while Elijah Adebayo is a superb enabler just £4.9m.

The striker bagged a hat-trick against Brighton in GW22, picking up a 17-point haul in Luton's 4-0 win.

Meanwhile, Thomas Kaminski is an attractive option between the sticks. As a goalkeeper, the Luton star can be benched for another playing shot-stopper in blank GW26 and thus not take up a crucial outfield spot.

Liverpool's Darwin Nunez is also an inviting pick, with Brentford and Luton to play in double GW25

Finally, it's important to note that GW29 is set to be a fairly sizeable blank gameweek because of the FA Cup quarter-finals. Essentially, any side who reach the last eight of the tournament, or any of their GW29 opponents, will not play and therefore blank.

As it stands, the only fixtures that will definitely go ahead in GW29 are Burnley vs Brentford and Fulham vs Tottenham, as all four teams are out of the FA Cup.

Unless managers plan to use their Free Hit chip, it's something worth considering before loading up on Bournemouth and Luton players ahead of double GW28.
