PSV Eindhoven 'have NO intention' of selling star man Cody Gakpo on deadline day in blow to Southampton and Leeds... with bosses 'keen to tie winger to a lucrative new contract'

Leeds and Southampton's hopes of a late swoop for Cody Gakpo have reportedly been all but ended as PSV Eindhoven decide to keep hold of their star man.

After Manchester United cooled their interest in the Dutch winger following the £85.5million acquisition of Antony from Ajax, Leeds and Southampton emerged as two alternative suitors.

But the Athletic report that PSV have now decided to keep hold of Gakpo this summer and they are determined to get him to sign a lucrative new contract at the club.
