The New Year's Day clash will be a vital one for both sides. Spurs have won just one of their last five games, and are beginning to drift down the table after a solid start to the season.
They came back well against Brentford to steal a point after being 2-0 down, but will need to start games better if they are to finish in the Champions League places.
Villa may lost their first game back after the World Cup but were up against a strong Liverpool side, and will be hoping to find some consistency after an odd run of results before the break.
