Jonny Evans has completed a short-term one-year deal to return to Manchester United.
The Academy graduate spent a successful pre-season with the Red Devils and Erik ten Hag and Co have rewarded him with a new contract.
The defender won three Premier League titles, two League Cups and the Champions League during his first spell at the club which saw him make 198 first-team appearances at United.
He left Old Trafford in 2015 in a £6million move to West Bromwich Albion, before joining Leicester City in 2018.
Evans went on to make 121 appearances for the Foxes, eventually becoming captain, before leaving on the expiry of his contract and after Leicester's relegation to the Championship.

Manager Erik Ten Hag has given Evans a one year deal after a strong preseason at the club
Over the summer the Northern Ireland international has been training at United and he even featured in some preseason games.
Erik Ten Hag seems to have seen enough to offer the 35-year-old a one-year deal, in an efforgt to bolster his defence after Raphael Varane was ruled out for 'a few weeks' with another injury.
On joining his boyhood club again, Evans said: 'I am delighted to join Manchester United, a place which has always felt like home.
'This club and the fans have shaped me as a player and as a person since I was 15 years old, and I am delighted to be back where it all began as part of this talented squad.
'I've really enjoyed working under the manager and his coaching staff since the start of pre-season, and I'm looking forward to helping this group achieve success together at this fantastic football club.'
Evans arrival is yet another blow to Harry Maguire's career at Old Trafford as he faces stiffer competition to gain a spot in the centre of defence.
