Rio Ferdinand trolled Douglas Luiz after Manchester United's 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Sunday.
United struck first at Villa Park after Rasmus Hojlund connected with Harry Maguire's header to score in his five successive Premier League game.
The hosts hunted for an equaliser throughout the first half and were denied on two separate occasions by solid saves from Andre Onana.
Lisandro Martinez's injury last week came as a crushing blow for Erik ten Hag's side and they were dealt yet more defensive misery as Luke Shaw was withdrawn at half-time.
Though the Dutchman later confirmed replacing Shaw was a precautionary measure, the absence of the 28-year-old on the left flank would prove costly for United as Villa equalised through Luiz in the second half.

After netting his eighth goal of the season in all competitions Luiz embarked on an extravagant celebration, shimmying in front of the United defence before racing off towards the Villa faithful.
The Brazilian's celebrations would ultimately prove to be in vain however, as substitute Scott McTominay restored United's lead in the final minutes of normal time.
Following the full-time whistle, Rio Ferdinand took to social media to poke fun at Luiz, sharing an image of his celebration accompanied with the caption 'U ok' followed by multiple laughing emojis.
Luiz had shown his frustration on the pitch after Hojlund trolled the home fans by cheekily reminding them of the score as he was substituted in stoppage time.
The Villa midfielder ushered the Danish forward off the pitch to a furious response from the supporters in attendance.
