The Italian coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti, with experience in England after stints on the bench at Chelsea and Everton, was highly critical of racism in Spain and used the British competition as an example.

He focused his entire speech on the fight against hate crimes in the world of soccer and praised the good work of the Premier League, which took drastic measures some time ago and can now enjoy the result in all its soccer grounds.

It's a league that is healthy from within, that respects footballers and that has left behind such regrettable scenes as those Vinicius had to experience at Mestalla.

"Condemning is not enough, we started condemning a long time ago, but after condemning you have to act and there has not yet been any action to put an end to the problem," Ancelotti said.

"It is a problem of racism and insults. There are countries where they don't insult you.

"In England they don't insult you because they solved this issue a long time ago when in 1985 English teams were banned from European competitions for five years.

"There are isolated cases of racism there, but no insults. So much so that there are no police at English league matches.

"Here it seems like going to war. You have a van in front of you, another one in the back, another one at the side. What is this?

"Fortunately in England they took very drastic measures and solved it."
