The rumors involving Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe just won't go away, but it's not just Los Blancos' fans who would love it to happen, their players would do.
Brazilian international Rodrygo has spoken of how happy he would be to see the French forward join him in the Spanish capital.
Rodrygo like many of his teammates is currently on international duty, but that doesn't mean he can escape the rumour mill.
He was asked at a press conference to say how excited he'd be by Mbappe joining Madrid on a scale of one to 10.
"For me, 10, because he's a phenomenon, he's one of the best players in the world and we know that we need a player there, in the position he likes to play," said Rodrygo.
"I'd be very excited if Mbappe came, but he has a contract in Paris and we have to respect that.
"The sooner [he joins] the better, but if Mbappe can't come now, there are other players. Florentino [Perez] and [Carlo] Ancelotti will decide what's best for Real Madrid."
Ancelotti's future
Rodrygo could also be linking up with Ancelotti in a different setting than usual in the near future.
Talk that the Brazilian federation want the Italian to be their next coach is heating up, with many voices lending credence to the story.
"I wish I could have him in both [Madrid and Brazil] if possible," joked Rodrygo in response to the inevitable question.
