Antonio Rudiger celebrated Real Madrid's Champions League triumph in style, as he showed off a watch worth a staggering value.

The German international produced a solid performance at the back as Real Madrid won the trophy for a 15th time, beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in Saturday's final at Wembley.

In photos posted to his Instagram account on Monday, Rudiger posed with the Champions League trophy alongside his international team-mate Toni Kroos, and David Alaba - who missed the match through injury.

While they were showing off the prestigious trophy, the expensive item on Rudiger's wrist will have also caught the eye for those viewing the picture on his social media.

As reported by BILD, the watch has a market price worth €1.51m (£1.29m) - almost 30 times more expensive than the Champions League trophy itself.

The German outlet claims that the Champions League trophy is worth an estimated value of just €50,000 (£42,600).

Rudiger also showed off the watch in an Instagram video which was originally posted on Alaba's Instagram story - before it was edited and republished by an account called 'insaneluxurylife'.

The watch, a Patek Phillipe Nautilus, is a limited edition collector's item, which was produced in collaboration with Tiffany & Co - to mark their 170 years of working together.

It's claimed that just 170 watches were produced, and depending on when Rudiger bought the watch, he would have had to shell out a whole lot more one year ago.

This it because the watch was reportedly worth €2.66m (£2.26m) last year.

Rudiger isn't the only high-profile name in the sporting world to be captured wearing the timepiece.

NBA superstar LeBron James was also seen wearing it when he attended the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France last year.

James had the watch visibly out on show when he waved the flag to start the iconic race.

The watch is a limited edition collector's item, and was previously seen being worn by LeBron James as he started the 100th 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2023

Saturday's triumph was the second time that Rudiger (right next to Alaba and Toni Kroos) has won the Champions League during his career - previously doing so with Chelsea back in 2021

It is Rudiger's second Champions League triumph of his career, after he previously won the trophy for Chelsea in the 2020-21 season.

The German joined Real Madrid after they saw off Liverpool in the final one year later, and the 31-year-old has become an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti's side.

He made 48 appearances in all competitions this season, and will now hope for success with his national side, who host this summer's European Championship.
