Real Madrid deny having made any offer for Pogba

Real Madrid may be in search of a midfielder, but they are not interested in signing Paul Pogba, whose Manchester United contract is set to expire later this month.

Los Blancos' primary target is Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni, but even if they don't manage to acquire his services, the club will not move for his compatriot.

Real Madrid directors have denied to MARCA that Los Blancos have made contact with either the player or someone from his entourage.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid every summer for the last five years. Former coach Zinedine Zidane asked the club to sign the French midfielder in the past, but Los Blancos are now in search of a different kind of player for the middle third.

Meanwhile, Pogba is negotiating his potential return to Juventus, whom he departed to make his Manchester United comeback in 2016.

The undisputed

Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga will be the players to form Real Madrid's midfield for next season. Meanwhile, negotiations to sign Tchouameni are ongoing and Real Madrid are confident that they can sign the France international despite a deal with Monaco not being close for the time being.
