Gruesome footage emerges of Eduardo Camavinga crying for help on the floor after the Real Madrid star sustained a knee injury that will keep him out of action for SEVEN weeks

New footage has surfaced showing the injury Eduardo Camavinga sustained just a day before Real Madrid's Super Cup match on Wednesday evening.

The 21-year-old's injury happened during a training session on Tuesday at Warsaw's National Stadium where their Super Cup game against Italian side Atalanta took place.

The club confirmed shortly after the incident that the French midfielder would miss the start of the 2024-2025 season after suffering a knee injury during their team training session.

It is believed Camavinga, who featured in four games for France at Euro 2024, will be out of action for up to seven weeks, with Real's LaLiga title defence beginning on Sunday at Mallorca.

A video clip of the incident has surfaced on social media, showing Aurelien Tchouameni clatter into Camavinga as they challenged for the ball in the middle of the pitch.

Camavinga was heard screaming in pain after Tchouameni accidentally stepped on his foot during a small-sided game, causing the 21-year-old to fall and twist his knee.

Despite the severity of the incident, Camavinga was able to walk off the pitch with the assistance of Real Madrid's medical staff.

His teammates resumed their training session as the French international was attended to, bringing a sense of relief that the injury, while painful, did not require immediate evacuation from the field.

Nevertheless, Camavinga has been ruled out for six-seven weeks - missing Real Madrid's opening game of the LaLiga season this weekend.

Shortly after the training session on Wednesday, Real Madrid shared the following statement: 'After the tests carried out today, our player Eduardo Camavinga has been diagnosed with a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee.'

Thankfully, Real Madrid managed to get the job done without Camavinga - beating Italian side Atalanta 2-0 in Warsaw to clinch the UEFA Super Cup.
