Real Madrid's LaLiga title defence got off to a rocky start as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Mallorca on Sunday.
All eyes were on Kylian Mbappe, as he made his LaLiga debut for Los Blancos after featuring in their UEFA Super Cup win over Atalanta midweek.
However it was a familiar face who opened the scoring for Carlo Ancelotti's men after just 13 minutes. A lovely touch from Vinicius Jr. left the ball for Rodrygo, who curled a lovely strike into the far corner to give Real the advantage.
Their inability to add to their lead proved costly as the home side levelled the match after the restart, Vedat Muriqi sending a powerful header past the diving Thibaut Courtois.
In the end the two teams had to settle for a point each, with Real dropping two points on the opening day.
