Carlo Ancelotti blasts Hansi Flick after Real Madrid's embarrasing loss in El Clasico

El Clasico was a very tense matchup, as usual, in which Real Madrid had a lot of opportunities but the Barcelona backline provoked plenty of offsides and then scored on the chances they got for an embarrassing 4-0 win at Santiago Bernabeu.

But probably the tension was felt even more so on the benches, as the Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, finished the game very upset with the FC Barcelona bench.

It happened after the last goal when Raphinha took advantage of a mistake by Lucas Vázquez and chipped the ball over Lunin to score the fourth goal. The Barça bench came out to celebrate in style and it seems that something happened that the Italian coach did not like at all, as who came out to reproach Hansi Flick for what happened and exchanged several words with him.

Things got ugly at the end

The Italian complained that the Barça players crossed the technical area and invaded Madrid's space, although what bothered Ancelotti the most was that Marcus Sorg, Flick's assistant coach, also did it, and he let him know.

Ancelotti explained what happened after the game; "Something happened with the assistant coach, not with Flick. He was not a gentleman when celebrating in front of the bench. I told Flick and he agreed."

Interestingly enough, during the Barcelona postgame press conference, Hansi said something else. "I'm not even sure. I spoke with Carlo. It's normal when you concede a goal," the head coach said as it looks to be far from what Ancelotti mentioned. Classic for El Clasico.
