A former USMNT star advises Pulisic not to leave for the Premier League in January

Christian Pulisic has regained his form at AC Milan, where he is already in his second season, with outstanding performances and, for now, five goals in Serie A and three in the Champions League, which already puts him in the shop window to be tempted by other teams in the winter market.

After his time at Chelsea, where in four seasons he did not shine as he does now in Italy, according to a report by Essentially Sports, former USMNT star Charlie Davies took advantage of this to warn him not to fall into the temptation of returning to the Premier League if teams like Liverpool are looking for him, to give priority to maintaining continuity, for the good of the national team and ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

"If he goes and does it again this season, if he goes and gets double figures in all the games and is Milan's player of the season, all of a sudden bigger clubs will come along, like Liverpool for example. Are you going to make that move just because it's Liverpool and they've won everything?" Davies commented in his appearance on an episode of Call It What You Want on CBS Sports Golazo, where he advised that if approached he should say: "Why go at this height? I would say, 'Give me another year. After the World Cup, we'll talk'. Because you're in a perfect situation."
