Tyson Fury has revealed his 'new method' of preparing for his trilogy fight for Derek Chisora, with the WBC heavyweight champion claiming he has gone celibate for seven weeks ahead of Saturday's clash.

Fury is set to defend his heavyweight belt against Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a potential undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk up next if he can get past his domestic rival.

The Gypsy King does not appear to be taking his eye off the ball, though, and has claimed he has abstained from any sexual activity in the build-up to the fight, which is something that he has not previously done.

He told Barstool Sports: 'You know how I used to masturbate seven times per day to give me power?

'This time I'm celibate. I'm celibate for seven weeks until the fight. It's a new method, I'm trying something out.

'I'm going in there with a loaded gun, someone's getting in severe trouble.

'I'm gonna be testosteroned out of my head completely. Seven weeks' worth.'

Fury's unorthodox approach worked for him in his fights against Deontay Wilder as he knocked the American out twice in 2020 and 2021.

He then stopped Dillian Whyte inside seven rounds at Wembley in April, but he is now taking a different approach as he looks to finish the year with a bang against Chisora this weekend.

Fury has already beaten Chisora twice, winning a unanimous decision in 2011 before forcing his opponent's corner to throw in the towel after 10 rounds three years later.

Another win over Chisora could set up a blockbuster 2023 for the 34-year-old, with fights against Usyk and Anthony Joshua potentially on the horizon.
