Bayern are aware of Kane's desire to resolve his future this week, after the 30-year-old personally set a deadline for the Bavarian giants to agree a deal with Spurs believed to be before their Premier League campaign begins on Sunday against Brentford.
Mail Sport revealed last month that chairman Daniel Levy was seeking around £120m for Kane - despite him only having a year left on his deal - but he could accept a fee close to £100m to avoid losing Kane for free next summer.
Harry Kane was lauded by Spurs fans as he hit four past Shakhtar Donetsk in a 5-1 friendly win
Daniel Levy responded to Bayern's £86million offer for Kane by flying out to the United States
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel hoped to have Kane in his team for the beginning of the season
Now only a little way short of that evaluation, the bid could test Levy's determination to keep the club's all-time record goalscorer.
It could also challenge Kane's desire to seek pastures new despite reportedly enjoying life under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Kane scored four times in Tottenham's 5-1 friendly win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday, having played a full part in their pre-season preparations.
Spurs fans serenaded the forward with chants of 'we want you to stay' as Postecoglou's side turned in an impressive performance ahead of the new season.
