  • Son ended up scoring twice in a 4-3 win for Tottenham in Seoul

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min scored a wondergoal in his side's pre-season friendly against a K-League XI on Wednesday - and it was all captured on the referee's body-cam.

Tottenham took the lead in Seoul through Dejan Kulusevski just before the half hour mark, before Son doubled their advantage nine minutes later with a brilliant strike.

The boy-cam footage shows Son dribbling across the edge of the penalty area onto his right foot before unleashing a powerful effort into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

The referee was in the perfect position, as he was stood almost directly behind Son as he let fly and his shot found the net.

Most players would have run off celebrating wildly after such a stunning strike, but Son hardly acknowledged it, having become accustomed to scoring similar goals over the years.

He added to his tally on the stroke of half time as he exchanged passes with Kulusevski before coolly slotting home.

The K-League XI outfit threatened a comeback after the break when Stanislav Iljutchenko scored twice in as many minutes, but Spurs teenager Will Lankshear gave his side some breathing space with a goal midway through the second half.

Oberdan Alionco de Lima pulled another goal back for the K-League XI with nine minutes to go, but Ange Postecoglou's side held on for a 4-3 win.

After scoring twice in his homeland, Son admitted it had been a 'special night' for him.

'The lads did a fantastic job and the fans were unbelievable today,' he told Tottenham's official X account.

'I'm very proud to be Korean. They love football, they love us. It was a very special night, and a special game for me.'

Tottenham have one more match in Seoul against Bayern Munich on Saturday before they head back to the UK to finish their pre-season schedule ahead of their first Premier League game against newly-promoted Leicester City on August 19.
