Barcelona are reportedly set to lock horns with Manchester United in the race for Amadou Onana's signature.
Barca have identified Onana as one of their main midfield targets as their attraction to Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich wavers.
Everton and Belgium star Onana, 22, has inflated his stock price with two solid seasons under his belt on Merseyside.
Manchester United and Arsenal have previously been reported as suitors of Onana, so Barcelona could have a battle on their hands.

That said, they are up against France in the last 16 and could be sent packing as early as Monday as they play one of the favourites.
Onana has established himself as a regular for his country in recent years and has played an important role at Euro 2024.
He signed for the Toffees for around £34million in August 2022 and they will be seeking an upgrade on that investment.
Barcelona have reportedly turned to Onana and Merino because they believe that they offer strengths without the ball.
