The coach added that the club are working against the clock to register the French centre-back.

FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández confirmed in the press conference Jules Koundé will be registered soon and should be in the squad for the match against Real Sociedad.

"We will share the list tomorrow, there is still no news about Koundé's registration".

The coach, who wants his first win of the season at the Reale Arena, will not publish the squad list until Sunday morning to see if the club achieves its objective.

"We have time until tomorrow".

The French centre-back has arrived at Camp Nou to shore up the defence and the coach considers him a priority to compete at the highest level this season.
