Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark internationals remain in contention for the Nations League title.

The last international break before the World Cup in Qatar 2022 is underway and some of the Barça players will be in action this Thursday.

18 players in total have been called up by their national teams.

The European players will play in the next few days the two decisive matchdays of the group stage of the UEFA Nations League.

The 'final four' competing for the prize in June 2023 could have a large Culé representation.

Here is the schedule along with the FC Barcelona's internationals who could potentially play a part in the Nations League. The international break will last until the end of September.

Spain: Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Pedri, Gavi and Ferran Torres

- 24 September (20.45). Spain-Switzerland.

- 27 September (20.45). Portugal-Spain.

Luis Enrique's side, one point clear at the top of Group 2, have two shots to qualify for the finals again. If they stumble against Switzerland, they will have to take on second-placed Portugal in Braga.

France: Koundé and Dembélé

- 22 September (20.45). France-Austria.

- 25 September (20.45). Denmark-France.

The reigning champions' are having a tournament to forget. With two draws and two defeats in four games, France are bottom of Group 1. If they do not want to be relegated to League B, the Bleus cannot falter. A litmus test for Jules and Ousmane.

Netherlands: Frenkie de Jong and Memphis

- 22 September (20.45). Poland-Netherlands.

- 25 September (20.45). Netherlands-Belgium.

In Group 4, the 'Oranje' are in contention to be one of the four contenders for the title. They have a three-point cushion over Belgium at the top of the table but face two very demanding games in the current break.

Germany: Ter Stegen

- 23 September (20.45). Germany-Hungary.

- 26 September (20.45). England-Germany.

Few could have imagined that, before the last two matchdays, the 'group of death of Germany, Italy, England and Hungary would be led by the latter. The Teutons, however, depend on their results to seal their place in the final four.

Poland: Lewandowski

- 22 September (20.45). Poland-Netherlands.

- 25 September (20.45). Wales-Poland.

With no chance of a place in the finals, Robert has a clear mission: to prevent Poland's relegation. His team have four points and Wales only one, so the goal is more than attainable. The Netherlands (10 points) and Belgium (seven) will play for progressing from Group 4.

Denmark: Christensen

- 22 September (20.45). Croatia-Denmark.

- 25 September (20.45). Denmark-France.

They have won three out of four matches and head into the last two rounds as leaders of Group 1. Croatia, however, only have two points to go back to level with them in the standings. Andreas will have his work cut out.

The rest of Barça's senior internationals (Raphinha, Araujo and Kessie) will focus on the preparation for the World Cup in Qatar. Balde and Arnau Tenas, who have been called up to the Spain U21 squad, will also play friendlies.

Brazil: Raphinha
