Sergio Busquets spoke to Movistar after the 1-0 win over Mallorca. The captain, despite the win, admitted Barcelona were not comfortable.

“We would have liked to reach the final minutes with a bigger advantage, but we knew that it would be a difficult game,” said the midfielder. “After a break, it’s always very hard and this was no exception.

“They were fresher in the first half, we knew their plan was to shut up shop with a defence of five then another line of four, and let our defenders bring out the ball.

“In the second half we wore them down more and found more passes, we had the game under control and we could have scored the second. However, with such a small lead you are risking it and they made us suffer a bit. In the end, all went well and we got the three points.”

Ter Stegen reached 534 minutes without conceding a goal.

“We have a great keeper and a solid defence. The record says a lot about him and the defensive work of the whole team,” said Busquets.
