Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez have been dropped by Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool's visit to West Ham.

The two forwards have produced three goals between them in Liverpool's last seven Premier League games and been criticised for their wastefulness in front of goal.

Klopp has taken the step after both were slammed for their performances in the 2-0 Merseyside derby loss to Everton on Wednesday.

Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo come into the team and will start in the front three alongside Luis Diaz, who keeps his place from the midweek defeat.  Gakpo returns after missing the Everton match for the birth of his son, Samuel.

Jarell Quansah steps into the defence while Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo come into the midfield, with Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, and Dominik Szoboszlai losing their places.

There is also a return to the bench for young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic, who hasn't played for the first team since September.

Klopp will expect a response from his team after a dismal showing at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

Liverpool were second-best against their rivals, who have won three of their last four games to effectively secure survival.

The Reds can draw level on points with league leaders Arsenal if they beat West Ham but will have played one more than them by that time - and two more than Manchester City.

These are the last four Premier League games of the Jurgen Klopp era before Arne Slot of Feyenoord replaces him.
