Harry Kane 'had a meeting with Thomas Tuchel at his house' and outlined his 'dream' to win the Champions League with Bayern Munich... as German giants prepare new offer after £60m was rejected by Tottenham

Thomas Tuchel has met Harry Kane at his home in London in a bid to convince him to sign for Bayern Munich, according to a report.

Kane's future remains up in the air and he has been subject of a £60million bid from Bayern, which was rejected by Tottenham.

A second bid is being readied - as reported by Mail Sport's Simon Jones - as the German side try to tempt Daniel Levy into selling his long-term prized asset at a cut price.

Tuchel led Bayern to their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title last season but the club is desperate for a new forward, and it appears the German is taking matters into his own hands by travelling to London to meet Kane.

According to

, the two discussed a potential move and Kane admitted he is drawn to the prospect of winning the Champions League if he were to make the move.

Tuchel reportedly travelled to London alongside former sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic to try and sign both Kane and Declan Rice.

Though the pursuit of Rice failed with the midfielder set to join Arsenal, a move for Kane is far from off the table and Bayern are hopeful a deal can be done at some point this summer.

Kane reportedly made it clear that he was interested in a deal, but that's just the starting point with Levy infamously stubborn over approaches for the England captain.

The forward wanted to leave Tottenham for Manchester City in 2021 but a deal was never agreed and he ended up staying in north London.

He has made his desire to win trophies clear - something he is yet to do at club or international level - and a move to Bayern would at least almost guarantee a division title.

With Manchester United seemingly out of the race too, Kane may be short on options if he is looking to move on this summer.

His contract runs out in 2024, meaning Spurs will likely have to sell this summer or risk losing him for free next term.
