Paris Saint-Germain were ready to celebrate yet another Ligue 1 title on Saturday night as they hosted Le Havre at the Parc des Princes but were held to a 3-3 draw by the relegation strugglers.

The objective at the start of the night was clear: win, and win the league. But what was supposed to be PSG's day of celebration was quickly dampened by the visitors, as they took a shock lead on 19 minutes through Christopher Operi.

Parity was restored ten minutes later as the homegrown pair of Warren Zaire-Emery and Bradley Barcola combined to make it 1-1, with the former assisting the latter.

Andre Ayew had other ideas though, as netted six minutes before the break to set up a tense second half.

Luis Enrique wasted no time in sending on his star man, Kylian Mbappe, at the start of the second period, along with Lee Kang-in.

But even Mbappe could not turn the tide from outset, as Abdoulaye Toure made it 3-1 for the visitors from the penalty spot just after the hour mark.

There eventually was a PSG comeback. Achraf Hakimi went through on goal and tucked the ball home to give hope with 12 minutes to go.

The equaliser arrived from the head of Goncalo Ramos in the fifth minute of injury time, but there was not enough time to complete the turnaround and so the champagne will have to be put on ice until after PSG's Champions League semi-final second leg away at Dortmund
