Crystal Palace are keen to press forward with making an official bid for Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe as the Gunners consider selling the playmaker.
The 23-year-old is regarded by Arsenal supporters as one of their academy's best attacking products but has grown frustrated at a lack of opportunities under Mikel Arteta.
Fulham have already had a £30m bid rejected by Arsenal and Palace are now set to make their move in a bid to beat the Cottagers to the top talent.
However, it is yet to be seen whether Arsenal are willing to sell Smith Rowe who has two years remaining on his existing contract at the Emirates.
Difficult injuries caused the Englishman to struggle with fitness last season, but the qualities displayed across 115 senior appearances have convinced both Palace and Fulham to make moves.

Smith Rowe is already showing a return to form as he scored in Arsenal's first pre-season fixture against League One side Leyton Orient on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, one of his Arsenal team-mates could be set for a switch to France as Marseille continued to monitor Eddie Nketiah's situation after already signing Mason Greenwood.
Former Man United striker Greenwood could be joined in Marseille by Nketiah - who started just 10 Premier League games for Arsenal last season.

Arsenal teenager Chido Obi Martin set to leave the club after rejecting a contract offer
Marseille would like Nketiah and Greenwood to play alongside each other in a new-look forward line, with last season's leading scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moving on.
Nketiah hasn't made as much of an impact as he would have liked over the past two league campaigns but has scored important goals for Arteta - most notably a brace in a 3-2 win over Man United in January 2023.
He also netted a hat-trick in a 5-0 demolition of Sheffield United last season and Marseille are confident they can get the best out of the 25-year-old.
The Gunners are also set for another imminent departure with teenager Chido Obi Martin set to leave the club after rejecting a contract offer and has been talking to Manchester United, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich.
