Joao Felix was subjected to brutal chants from Atletico Madrid supporters after scoring in his side's 3-1 pre-season victory over Getafe on Saturday.
The Portugal international, who missed a decisive penalty in his side's Euro 2024 quarter-final defeat against France, has returned to Madrid after spending last season on-loan at Barcelona.
Felix was desperate to leave the club last year and upon joining Barcelona at the time declared it was his 'dream' to play for the Catalan giants under previous manager Xavi.
His frosty relationship with Atletico boss Diego Simeone still appears damaged and the club's supporters were keen to air their displeasure at the forward during the friendly match at Getafe's Coliseum.
Some of the fans that had made the trip to watch their team in action ahead of the new LaLiga season getting underway could be heard chanting 'That Portuguese, son of a b*tch' towards Felix.

The playmaker was walking off the pitch to take a corner when he was targeted by Atletico fans who are keen to see him permanently leave the club in the coming weeks.
His goal on the stroke of half-time wasn't enough to repair what evidence suggests is a broken relationship between the 24-year-old who previously joined in a £107m transfer from Benfica in 2019.
Since then, Felix has struggled to live up to the hype that surrounded his arrival and it was hoped loans to Chelsea and Barcelona would pave the way for a permanent departure that is yet to materialise.

Barcelona were believed to be keen on having Felix return to the Nou Camp next season but have prioritised other transfers amidst financial difficulties that have affected their ability to spend.
Aston Villa have been monitoring Felix's situation and could target him as a replacement for Moussa Diaby who previously left Villa Park in a £51m transfer to the Saudi Pro League.
Atletico are believed to have placed a £50m price on Felix but may have to lower their asking fee if they want to engineer the Portuguese star's early release from his long-term contract that doesn't expire until 2029.
During his time at Atletico, Felix has played 131 games and scored 34 goals, while providing 18 assists across all competitions.
