Chelsea have approached with Crystal Palace over a summer swoop for Michael Olise and are willing to include players as sweeteners in the deal.

The Eagles attacker is emerging a serious target for the Blues this summer and the west London side have now enquired about the attacker.

Olise has a complicated release clause in his contract, worth up to £60million, which he signed last summer after Chelsea failed in their attempts to sign him last summer.

Chelsea are now trying to ascertain the accurate details of Olise’s buy-out following their botched move in 2023.

Manchester United are also interest in Olise, but have a limited budget to work with.

Mail Sport understands Chelsea are open to including fringe players in any deal for Olise.

Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah are among the players Chelsea may consider using as makeweights in the deal.

Newcastle and Bayern Munich are among the clubs also keen on Olise, but Chelsea are confident they can land their long-term target.

Olise is understood to be keeping his options open this summer but wants a swift resolution to his future before he heads to the Olympics with France next month.

While the possibility of leaving Selhurst Park is an obvious possibility, sources have also indicated that the winger has shown a willingness to remain at Palace if they show ambition in the transfer market.

Mail Sport revealed last week the his team-mate Eberechi Eze has a minimum £60million release clause in his contract, while Marc Guehi is being monitored for Manchester United and Liverpool among others.

Losing Olise, Eze and Guehi would arrive as a huge blow to Oliver Glasner, whose team finished last season so promisingly with a run of six wins from their last seven matches.

Although the club are moving to strengthen the team with moves for Daichi Kamada and Chadi Riad. Palace also have a long term interest in Jobe Bellingham.

Last summer Mail Sport exclusively revealed how Chelsea’s original move for Olise had unfolded amid a backdrop of ‘tapping-up’ complaints from Palace.

Chelsea submitted an offer that they believed activated Olise’s complex release clause.

However, Chelsea’s interest in the winger has aggravated Palace officials, who believe the Stamford Bridge club have crossed the line in their attempts to sign the player last summer with Palace officials communicating their concerns to Chelsea.

Palace felt that Chelsea’s potential swoop for Olise had contravened transfer rules and etiquette and was tantamount to an illegal approach.

This summer, however, Chelsea have made a formal request to discuss a potential swoop for Olise with Palace.
