David Moyes is less than impressed that West Ham are having to play a game on the second transfer deadline day in succession, Mail Sport has been told.

The Hammers host Bournemouth at the London Stadium tonight – after facing Luton on September 1 when Moyes was annoyed that some of his squad members could be sold while that night match was ongoing.

West Ham tried to sign Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke in the summer, making a 'big offer'.

Though they are no longer in talks over Solanke, it could have thrown up the awkward possibility of the Hammers trying to sign the opposition striker before the 11pm deadline while he was playing against them.

West Ham are unlikely to add anyone on Transfer Deadline Day

Moves for Ibrahim Osman of Danish side Nordsjaelland and Al-Ittihad’s Jota (above) encountered complications.

West Ham are unlikely to add anyone today after moves for Ibrahim Osman of Danish side Nordsjaelland (left) and Al-Ittihad’s Jota (right) encountered complications.

They were interested in Ibrahim Osman of Danish side Nordsjaelland and Al-Ittihad's Jota but neither of those deals are close to completion.

Said Benrahma is the closest to leaving, though his transfer to Lyon is still being finalised.

West Ham accepted the £15million fee from the French club originally, but it is believed the player had reservations over a permanent move due to Lyon sitting third bottom of Ligue 1.

It has now turned into a loan, but that is being complicated by contractual issues.
