Osasuna enter the game on the back of a superb season - finishing ninth in the table, far surpassing their pre-season expectations in 2024/25. However, they begin the campaign with a new coach in the dugout in the form of Alessio Lisci.

Vicente Moreno, who led Osasuna to a stellar season last time out, became head coach of Qatar Stars League's Al-Wakrah SC, and thus a new era begins for the Pamplona side under the less experienced Lisci.
