When is the Champions League draw?

The draw for the Champions League quarter-final will take place Friday, March 18 at 11am UK time.

As with the draws for the last-16, country protection is no longer a factor, while there will once again be no more seeded sides.

The semi-final draw is done immediately after the quarter-finals have been drawn, so the sides will know their two potential opponents will be if they win their last-eight tie.

How can I watch the Champions League draw?

You can follow Sportsmail's live blog on Friday, while the draw will also be streamed on UEFA's official website.

UK viewers can also BT Sport, who will be showing the draw live and their coverage will start at 10:45am on BT Sport 2.

Where is the draw taking place?

The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.

Who will be in the Champions League draw?

Following the conclusion of Wednesday's last-16 ties, we now know exactly who will be competing in the quarter-finals and who is in with a chance of making the last four.

Liverpool signalled their intent of repeating their 2019 triumph with a perfect six wins out of six to top Group B and disposed of Serie A champions Inter in the last 16 following an impressive 2-0 first leg victory at the San Siro thanks to Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah's goals.

The 1-0 reverse in the return at Anfield in the return leg following Lautaro Martinez's strike was the Reds' only defeat in 18 matches in all competitions dating back to the turn of the year.

Reigning champions Chelsea put uncertainty over their new owner and when sanctions imposed on the club will be lifted to one side to see off Lille in the last 16 with a 4-1 aggregate win.

Goals from Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic saw the Blues take a 2-0 advantage to France, where the latter was also on target with Cesar Azpilicueta to settle the nerves after Burak Yilmaz's penalty.

Man City are still looking for their first title but proved far too good for Sporting in the last 16, winning 5-0 in Portugal with the likes of Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling on target before a goalless stalemate in the return leg at the Etihad Stadium.

Elsewhere, Karim Benzema's stunning hat-trick saw Real Madrid recover from a 2-0 deficit to knock out PSG in dramatic fashion.

Kylian Mbappe netted at the Parc des Princes and then in the first half at the Santiago Bernabeu, but his French counterpart blitzed the Ligue 1 giants in 17 sensational minutes to send the 13-time winners through.

Atletico Madrid saw off Manchester United, with Renan Lodi's header at Old Trafford proving the difference after Anthony Elanga had cancelled out Joao Felix's opener in the first leg.

Bayern Munich were not guaranteed of progression after drawing the first leg of their last-16 tie against RB Salzburg. However, the Bundesliga champions hammered their Austrian opponents 7-1 at the Allianz Arena, with Robert Lewandowski managing a hat-trick within 11 minutes.

Villarreal also made it safely through after a brilliant second-leg performance at Juventus, scoring three goals in the final 15 minutes to secure a 4-1 aggregate win. Benfica also secured their passage after overcoming Ajax.
