Trent Alexander Arnold's brothers were spotted celebrating after the England star scored his penalty against Switzerland.

The Liverpool star came off the bench in the second-half of extra-time to make an impact in the shootout and he went onto to score the decisive penalty which sent England into the semi-finals of Euro 2024.

Gareth Southgate decision to bring on Alexander-Arnold paid dividends as he sent Yann Sommer the wrong way after Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Ivan Toney all scored.

The 25-year-old's two brothers were watching from the stands and similar to the rest of the country, looked nervous as he stepped up to take his spotkick.

And as soon as he scored, the two brothers' huge relief was apparent as they screamed and celebrated together.

Speaking to the BBC after the win over Switzerland, he said: 'Incredible. These are the goals we set for ourselves. The team showed a lot of character, belief, heart and spirit, dug deep when it mattered most.

'We knew we were never going to run away with the game, so whatever it takes, no matter what, we win.

'That's all that matters to us.'

Alexander-Arnold started England's first two group games in midfield alongside Declan Rice before being dropped for the draw with Slovenia, with Conor Gallagher taking his place.
