Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard are making the most of the post-season by jetting off on holiday together ahead of the upcoming European Championship.

The Arsenal duo endured heartbreak on the final day of the Premier League season as Manchester City produced perfection to beat the Gunners to the title.

Mikel Arteta must now try and find a way to rally his squad for another title charge after finishing second behind City for the past two seasons, with Havertz and Odegaard key figures in his plans.

Havertz will be in contention at the upcoming Euros with Germany, while Odegaard is set for an extended break after Norway failed to qualify for the competition, but are soaking up the sun together during a mini-break overseas.

Havertz shared a heart-warming snap of the duo laughing and smiling on a luxury yacht while playing a game of poker with a stunning scenic backdrop behind them.

The former Chelsea star captioned his post 'recharging' much to the delight of Arsenal supporters who are desperate to see their team win the Premier League title next season.

Havertz only joined Arsenal last year in a £65m move from London rivals Chelsea and initially struggled to settle at the Emirates, with many fans calling for him to be dropped.

The 24-year-old turned around his form to become one of Arsenal's players of the season, ousting Gabriel Jesus as Arteta's main striker and scoring 13 goals in 37 appearances.

Meanwhile, Odegaard has impressed in his role as club captain and is one of the favourites to win a second consecutive Arsenal player of the season award.

Gunners stars have a head start on their rivals Man City as they begin their post-season recovery while Pep Guardiola's side prepare to take on Man United in Saturday's FA Cup final.

Havertz previously hailed his first season at the club, stating on his X profile: 'Where do I start.. My first season has been one which has helped me grow as a person and a player in many ways.

'Very grateful for all the support this season, from fans, staff and my team mates. It’ll take time to process everything but I know with this club we can achieve big things.'
