President Joan Laporta phoned Pini Zahavi to show his gratitude

Lewandowski has made it clear he wants to leave Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski could not be doing much more to force a move away from Bayern Munich this summer to Barcelona. The Polish striker, who scored in his country's 6-1 loss to Belgium on Thursday, has made it clear that his time with the German club is up and now he's only thinking of leading Xavi Hernandez's Camp Nou project. Negotiations between the clubs will start soon, but the player knows what he wants.

Clearly, the pressure being exercised by Lewandowski to force Bayern to let him leave before preseason has gone down well at Camp Nou. Barça, in a difficult financial situation, are grateful for everything the forward has said and done. It could be the key to getting a transfer over the line. So much so, in fact, that Barça president Joan Laporta phoned the player's agent, Pini Zahavi, a few days ago to personally thank him for the comments, according to Sport1.

The same report says Lewandowski is so clear on what his priorities are and doesn't rule out making even more comments to apply even more pressure in the coming days. While with Poland he has explained that he would like things to be sorted as soon as possible. But until Bayern show a willingness to sell him (he has one year to run on his contract in Germany), Barça cannot enter the scene.
