The Premier League has revealed when it plans to release information on TV picks ahead of the 2024-25 season, vowing to give fans at least five weeks' notice for every fixture other than the last day of the season.

The full list of fixtures for the upcoming Premier League campaign was released on Tuesday, with Manchester United scheduled to face Fulham at Old Trafford in the season's curtain-raiser on August 16.

In a match that will undoubtedly be branded 'Pep vs Diet Pep', Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will take on his former assistant Enzo Maresca on the opening weekend, after the Italian boss made the switch from Leicester to Chelsea's dugout this summer.

Between the opening day and the turn of the year, the Premier League has committed to giving fans a minimum of six weeks' notice on broadcast picks ahead of the first match of every month.

From January until the penultimate match round of the season, the Premier League will offer five weeks' notice on TV selections. The final weekend will only be determined once all clubs have played 37 matches.

Sky Sports will broadcast 128 Premier League games over the 2024-25 campaign, while TNT Sports will televise 52.  Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has secured a deal to show 20 matches across the season.

As part of their commitment, the Premier League has shared its target dates for releasing the broadcast information, with the TV picks for August and September expected to be confirmed by Friday July 5.

Man United, who chose to stick by under pressure manager Erik ten Hag after an end-of-season review, endured a record-low eighth place finish last term and will be eager to make a positive start against Fulham in the Premier League curtain-raiser.

Meanwhile, title contenders Arsenal will kick off their campaign against Wolves at the Emirates, but have otherwise been given a tricky start to the season, with away trips to Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester City within their opening five fixtures.

The showpiece of the opening weekend will no doubt be Chelsea's fixture against reigning champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in a contest that will no doubt be branded 'Pep vs Diet Pep'.

The Blues' new manager Enzo Maresca, who was part of Pep Guardiola's coaching staff at Manchester City, moved to the west London club this summer after impressing during Leicester's promotion season back to the Premier League.

Foxes fans affectionally nicknamed Maresca 'Diet Pep' for his ties to the legendary Spanish boss, so all eyes will be on whether the apprentice can outfox the master on opening weekend.

Another Premier League giant that begins the campaign with a new manager in the technical area is Liverpool, who appointed ex-Feyenoord boss Arne Slot to succeed Jurgen Klopp after the German left Anfield after nine impressive years at the club.

Slot's first test in the Premier League will be against Ipswich, who won promotion to the top flight in astonishing fashion under Kieran McKenna last campaign.

The clash at Portman Road has been handed the 12.30pm early kick-off on Saturday August 17, a time slot Klopp frequently criticised during his tenure at Anfield.

Chelsea could be set for a nightmare schedule in December if they stay in all competitions, with their participation in the Europa Conference League set to create a major headache for fixture organisers.
